How to Play Pot-Limit Omaha Poker Online?

Omaha poker has been derived from Texas Hold’em. Every player is dealt with four cards or known as hole cards, that belong to that player only. In this game, five community cards are dealt face-up on the table. All the Omaha poker players use all the three of the community cards together with two of their hole cards, making it the best five-card poker hand.

There are four rounds of betting in the Omaha poker game. It starts with Pre-flop the first round which is followed by flop, turn, and river. Here are some of the rules of Omaha:

Pre-Flop

• Here each player is dealt with four hole cards known as Starting hands, then the game goes with the first betting round called the Pre-flop. The player will then be given three options to act, “Call, Raise, and Fold”.
• Every player in Omaha poker sits on the betting round with three options. Fold, the player can surrender the hole cards and sit until the next game starts. Call, it is to bet the same amount as the previous player. Raise it is to raise the bet with respect to the size of the pot.

Flop

• The flop is followed by pre-flop, where three out of five community cards which are put to display on the table. Community cards are quite common to all the players.
• Here, in this round players, try to make the best five card combination based on the hand ranking. All the round after pre-flop is an opportunity is to make the best combination possible with two cards of the four hole cards and three cards of the five community cards.
• Here the betting action starts with an active player who sits on the left to the button. The betting takes place in the same way as it happened in the pre-flop when each player is given three options and the round goes on till all the players have made an equal bet.

Turn

• The third betting round after the pre-flop is known as the turn. The betting here continues in the same manner as the other rounds.
• Here, the fourth card among the five community cards will be dealt face up when the betting kicks-off live on this round.
• The betting round then starts with a player and continues till all the players have bet equally.

River

• This final round of the game is known as the river. Here the last card among the five community cards is dealt face up to all the players on the table.
• This is the last chance in order to make the best hand in this game with a five-card combination based on the hand ranking.
• This round also ignites with the players who are on the left to the button, and the bet runs in the same way as the previous rounds.
